However, they generally cannot match the mechanical strength of one-piece seamless pipes.
LSAW Pipes (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding)
LSAW pipes are constructed from steel plates that are cut, bent, and welded longitudinally. With large diameters typically ranging from 16 to 24 inches, these pipes are ideal for transporting oil and gas over long distances. For pipelines exceeding 24 inches, LSAW pipes are usually the only practical option. Due to their size and strength, LSAW pipes are an integral part of steel pipe for oil and gas industry infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient flow of crude oil and natural gas.
